I’m trying affiliate marketing for the first time. I’m confused as to my final step.

I have done everything for a site that will promote a product EXCEPT place the affiliate links. Pretty smart, huh?

My affiliate product is through commission junction. I have a cj user #. Let’s say it’s 12345

I’m thinking that the link will be
www.productname.com/12345

Is this correct?

If not, where do I get the link for the page. I want to embed this link into my text, I don’t want their slogans, banners, etc.
